Replit Designathon — Bangalore 01
Build something you've always wanted to make, but never did. Roughly 90 minutes, any idea, judged 60% on design. Powered by Replit.
What makes a valid entry
- A live Replit link that opens without a login
- A title, and one line on what you built
- Which problem and user you were given
- A screenshot or a short clip
Rules
- You build in pairs. Your collaborator is assigned when you find them — you do not pick.
- Your envelope gives you one problem and one user. Use both.
- Build it with Replit.
- One entry per pair. Either of you can post it, and it credits both.
- Entries open at 5:30 pm and close at 6:00 pm.
- From 6:00 pm everyone votes. You get 3 votes to spend on other teams.
Judging
- Design Quality (60%): Visual quality, UX and usability, Interaction design, Clarity, Attention to detail, Overall experience
- Originality (20%): Is the idea interesting?, Does it approach the problem differently?, Does it feel like your idea, not another AI-generated template?
- Social Sharing (20%): How clearly and creatively you communicate what you built, Not follower counts or likes — how well you tell the story and share it
This is a Designathon, not a traditional hackathon — the biggest emphasis is on the quality of the experience.
